Wonderfully Made

I got a thorn in my leg from climbing up that mountain.
There were so many bushes and sticks.
But it was worth it.
I am a very blessed girl... that is for sure.

God knew what He was doing when He made this world and the people in it.
He also knew what He was doing when He made me. and you.
Nothing is by mistake...
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made" Psalms 139:14

Lets not ever forget that we were forged by God... and made for His pleasure and purpose.
Such basic teaching. Such basic thoughts.
But it is so important and so forgotten.
Even thorns serve a purpose to the rose they protect.

Praise the Lord! Because He has done great things.

Nashville!

For thanksgiving I went to Kentucky with Dakota to visit his parents, but first we went to Nashville!
The music city!!!
We met Elvis!!
And his guitar was stollen... so I stood in its place. He was happy about that, trust me.

Good food. Good view. Good company.

These are three things that I love... among lots of other things of course!
Life is short... so take time to enjoy the things you love with the people you love.
You will be a much happier person if you do.

The Colors of Fall

In Arizona we don't get too much of a fall...
But thats not true of Arkansas!
I love seeing these changing colors and shades.
Ah, the beauty of it all. The beauty of fall.

Blessed.

To be blessed means to be enjoying happiness, or enjoying the bliss of heaven.
Thats how I feel when I go on road trips with this man...
Blessed.

Family

Family matters.
Family can lift you up. Make you forget about your problems... (as long as they aren't the source of the problem)..
In this last semester of nursing school, I am feeling completely overwhelmed...
But then I look at this pictures and realize there is indeed more to life than school.

Family. God. Friends.
Keep it all in perspective people.

These were taken in West Virginia at our family reunion.
